September 21st is International Day of Peace and to celebrate and practice PEACE, Dale Berkebile has partnered with St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church to create a FUNdraising event.
Dale Berkebile will teach a fun painting class and maybe offer a peaceful group meditation between painting stages.
St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church is offering its space to the community. There will be wine available at the event and also light snacks will be provided. So, invite your friends, and let’s create a fun event together, with friends, family, and/or neighbors. Let’s create an impact with our efforts and be the change we want to see in the world by engaging in fun, positive activities in our community. Let’s make a few friends and support each other.
This is a fun event and you do not need any painting experience. Dale Berkebile will be offering a 16″ x 20″ canvas to paint on (yours to take home and it’ll be ready to hang if you like). He will also supply all brushes and paints, as well as step-by-step directions to help you create a fun painting. At this Painting for Peace event we will be using a Mother Teresa quote for the inspiration for our painting. I hope to see you there!
